SUMMARY:Leader's Connection - Saskatoon
DESCRIPTION:The New Direction staff will be stopping in Saskatoon as part of our Generous Spaciousness tour across Western Canada this November\, and we are setting aside time to connect especially with church leaders\, since they are so frequently engaged in conversations at the intersection of faith and sexuality. We welcome all clergy\, lay leaders\, and other interested people from Saskatoon area churches to participate in this half-day event. \nHighly interactive\, this conversation will give voice to the critical questions congregations and leaders are facing\, share best practices and lessons learned\, and encourage nurturing generous spaciousness for sexual minority (LGBTQ+) people in our communities of faith. \nCost: $30/person. Each registrant will also receive a complimentary copy of the book “Generous Spaciousness: Responding to Gay Christians in the Church\,” recently released by executive director Wendy Gritter. \n \nEvent management for Leader’s Connection – Saskatoon powered by Eventbrite\n\n
