'Matterhorn' Screening

New Direction is proud to announce partnering with Level Ground for a film screening in Toronto on Sept 5.

The film being screened is a piece from the Netherlands called ‘Matterhorn’.

Fred lives on his own. His wife is dead, his son has left. He leans on the church, busses, meat-and-two-veg. Then Theo appears. Theo challenges all of Fred’s assumptions about gender, relationships, and the true nature of love. Their journey will make you laugh and cry.

A panel discussion will follow the screening, hosted by Jeff Chu, author of, “Does Jesus Really Love Me? A gay pilgrim’s search for God in America”
