Take a deep breath – it is finally here. Breathe in and exhale. Wrap your arms around your body and feel your shoulders rise up to your ears and then drop again with each deep breath. You are here. And you are enough. Breathe in and exhale. Squeeze a little tighter. And give yourself a little shake. You are here. And you are enough. Curl your toes tight and then relax them. Tighten your buttocks, inhale, and relax as you exhale. Clench your fists, inhale, and relax as you exhale. Scrunch up your face, inhale, and relax as you exhale. Wrap your arms around yourself again. Squeeze, inhale, and relax as you exhale. You are here. And you are enough. Take five deep breaths, inhale and exhale.

Awake, awake, Zion,
clothe yourself with strength!
Put on your garments of splendor,
Jerusalem, the holy city….

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.
Merry Christmas Beloved one! Awaken today and embrace the splendor and strength that is yours as a child of God. Shake the dust off your feet from the places where you are not seen. Stand tall in your secure place, set free to fully fill the space that only you can fill.
For unto us a child is born. And all the systems and structures that oppress and perpetuate injustice will need to bow to this child. For this Child is our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father & Mother, Supreme Creator, Carrier, and Conveyor of Peace. This Child will uphold the family of God with justice and making-all-things-right-ness.
