TCF Public Forum #2 on Christian Faith and Human Sexuality – Grand Rapids

This public forum is presented in conjunction with a 5-day colloquium where this group of scholars, theologians, and thought leaders will be in prayer and in dialogue, seeking unity in the midst of their differences. Because issues of sexuality touch the lives of so many, and because we wanted to share a portion of these transformative discussions with a wider audience, the public is invited to these evening events.

Each of the evening forums will stand on its own, so you may come to one or both as your interest and schedule permit. Seating is limited, so please register to attend one or both forums at tcf-events.eventbrite.com.

These forums are not only for people with personal states in LGBT realities. Many of us are hesitant even to admit that there are questions to be asked, and we want these issues to go away. But the questions persist and issues will not go away. We want to seek a path of Christian faithfulness together as the debate rages around us.

You will rarely find such a group of leaders on the topics of Christian faith and human sexuality together in one place. They are thoughtful, committed, and articulate. The forum will not be scripted. We will talk candidly, but we do not know what our participants will say. We trust these sisters and brothers, and even more, we trust the Holy Spirit to lead us.
